The college, along with the inter/national organizations that oversee our fraternities and sororities, strictly prohibits hazing activities.

What is Hazing?

According to , hazing is any activity expected of someone joining or participating in a group that humiliates, degrades, abuses, or endangers them, regardless of a person鈥檚 willingness to participate.

How to Report a Hazing Incident

Hazing is illegal, plain and simple.  If you or you know of a student who is experiencing hazing, we encourage you to report it to the Office of Student Activities, the Dean of Students Office, or the anonymous hotline 1-800-NOT- HAZE. All credible allegations will be investigated, but the more details you are able to provide the better we can follow-up.

For example, to report, 鈥淢y student is being hazed鈥 without giving information about your student, the organization they are in, or what is occurring is hard to investigate. It is better to report, 鈥淢y students is a member of "_____" organization, and my student said that last Saturday they were forced to drink large quantities of alcohol then do calisthenics.鈥
