Congress to Campus | Mastering Media Literacy: Navigating Politics in the Digital Age

This is one of four programs in our Congress to Campus series. Join us for a crucial discussion on the importance of media literacy and how to stay informed in the wake of the 2024 presidential election.

Our panelists will discuss how understanding media bias and verifying information are essential skills for navigating today's information landscape. This event is a must-attend for anyone looking to make informed decisions and critically engage with news in a rapidly evolving media environment.

Congress to Campus programming will be held Monday, October 7–Tuesday, October 8 at various times and locations on the �鶹ԭ�� Campus.

Congress to Campus, a prestigious program in which �鶹ԭ�� has participated since 2005, is sponsored by the U.S. Association of Former Members of Congress (FMC). This program offers college students a unique civic education opportunity by engaging them in honest dialogue with bipartisan teams of Former Members of Congress. We're pleased to announce that Val Demings (D-FL) and Dennis Ross (R-FL) will visit �鶹ԭ�� to participate in a series of American Democracy Project events, to visit classrooms, and engage with students across the campus in informal settings.
